Stolen vehicle found in Hillbrow

A 29-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police for allegedly stealing a motor vehicle from Sunnyrock.

The Primrose police recently arrested a 29-year-old and charged him with the theft of a motor vehicle.

The accused allegedly stole a white Hyundai from Sunnyrock.

“The complainant alleged that he parked his vehicle in his company’s parking lot and went into the office,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“When he returned to collect the vehicle later, it was gone.”

The truck was valued at R80 000.

Following several leads police were able to trace the vehicle to the Hillbrow area, where the accused was arrested.

The suspect was detained at the Primrose Police Station.

He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court where the matter was postponed for a bail application.
