Three dogs were killed by poisoners in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

An Elsburg family is distraught after their three dogs were poisoned in the early hours of last Tuesday morning.

The dogs, Dreamer, Smokie and Lulu, were poisoned at their Olivier Street, Elsburg, home and the family’s garden furniture was stolen.

Charné Redder told the GCN that when the family woke up they found all three dogs lying dead on the ground.

“We found what looks like raw Russian sausages filled with the poison Two Step in the garden.” Redder said.

The meat laced with poison found in the garden.

“Other dog owners must be aware that this is happening and that the thieves are poisoning the dogs and stealing garden furniture.

“People must take precautions with their animals.”
