Help the less fortunate this winter

Help us help those in need this winter.

With the winter cold starting to bite, the GCN is holding a collection project for families in need this winter.

The public is urged to donate clothes, blankets and non-perishable food which will be handed over to Germiston Child Welfare to assist those who have nothing.

To add to the project, Dinky Dolly Nursery School in Elsburg is holding a Lantern Walk on June 3.

The children will be walking from the Elsburg Town Hall at 5.30pm and the community is asked to show their support by handing over donations of clothes and blankets to them.

The public can drop off donations at the GCN’s offices, at the corner of Main Road and Scorpia Street, in Fishers’ Hill.

All donations, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated.

The project will run until the end of June.
