The Katlehong police held a stop-and-search operation from May 20 to 22 where 33 suspects were arrested on various charges.
The operation was held by members of the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit with the assistance of the EMPD.
Suspects were arrested for the following crimes; two suspects were arrested for attempted murder, one was arrested for theft of cash, three were arrested for murder, seven were arrested for being in possession of dagga, while 19 suspects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
All of the suspects are expected to appear in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
