Raising awareness in Solheim

The Primrose police, local CPF and Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk visited Solheim recently to address the rise of crime in the area.

Crime in Solheim is on the rise, according to the Primrose Police and local CPF.

A team of officers, community patrollers and members of the Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk recently visited the area.

“The visit aimed to warn the community of the dangers in the area.

“We also attempted to forge a relationship with the community members and educate them about crime,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

The youth desk distributed over 200 flyers in the area and residents were encouraged to get involved in the fight against crime.

“We hope they will assist in times of need,” said Maome.
