Last Tuesday, many suburbs in Germiston were once again left without power. The Germiston City News was made aware of the problem, and attempted several times to get comment from the metro as to the cause of the outage and when power would be restored.

• Nadine Osner Garcia, “Wilbart is still also without power. We are a manufacturing suburb (only companies here) and our ability to produce products on time is becoming near impossible with the weekly power failures. It is severely affecting the way we operate and our turnover.”
