Man robbed at gunpoint

The Primrose police arrested one man for armed robbery, while the other two remain at large.

A 28-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police for armed robbery.

It is alleged that he was one of three men who robbed a man at gunpoint, in Zannia Road.

“The victim came to the Primrose Police Station after the incident,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.

“He claimed he was walking down the street when the three men approached him. While one man held him at gunpoint the others searched him, taking his wallet and necklace.”

The victim recognised one of his attackers and was able to tell police where he lives.

The suspect was arrested, and police continue to search for the other two men.

The suspect will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
