The Germiston City News strives to assist the community in getting answers from the metro on various municipal complaints.
However, the team needs several vital pieces of information to enable them to the get answers.
They are:
- Most importantly the complainant needs to have logged a call with the metro’s call taking centre, and gotten a reference number.
- The physical address of the complaint and/or problem.
- How long has the problem been on-going and when it was first reported to the metro.
- The name, surname and contact number of the complainant for our records and/or articles so that we can get back to you and/or follow-up on the problem.
The team will send the relevant information to the metro’s media department, as we cannot contact the departments directly for comment.
All municipal complaints are sent to the metro, however, the metro does not always respond to the GCN’s queries or the responses we receive are not adequate.
