Eighteen nabbed in Primrose
The Primrose police shared their latest arrest statistics.
From March 28 to April 3 the Primrose police arrested 18 suspects in the Primrose area.
The accused were arrested on various charges.
Charges included:
- Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 3
- Possession of drugs: 1
- Theft of a motor vehicle: 1
- Possession of stolen property: 1
- Driving under the influence: 9
- Pointing of a firearm: 1
- Malicious damage to property: 2
The Primrose SAPS station commander, Lieut-Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
