Rain predicted throughout the week
Weather service issues several warnings.
The South African Weather Service has predicted cooler temperatures, as well as, rain for the coming week.
In addition the service has warned of:
- Severe Thunderstorms
Severe thunderstorms in parts of the province from 2pm to 11pm, these storms could include large hail and damaging winds.
- Heavy rain
Is expected to hit the province on Saturday.
- Extreme Heat
Extremely hot conditions are expected over parts of Gauteng.
- High discomfort values
Hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions.
Residents are urged to take precautions when travelling and be sure their vehicles and animals have appropriate shelter.
