Four injured as bakkie overturns

Four people were injured when a bakkie overturned on the N17 highway, near the Osborn Road off-ramp, on Friday afternoon.

“Reports from the scene indicate that one person is in a critical condition and three others have sustained injuries ranging from serious to moderate,” said Athlenda Mathe, media liaison officer for Netcare 911.

Netcare 911 paramedics and paramedics from another emergency services managed to stabilise all the injured on the scene.

All four have been transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
