Three men, aged between 25 and 39 years, were recently arrested for possession of dagga, in Primrose.
The arrests were made during a stop-and-search operation by members of the Primrose police and members of the EMPD.
The first accused was arrested by the EMPD in Rietfontein Road, after officers noticed him acting suspiciously.
The other two suspects were arrested in the Makause informal settlement, after the Primrose police received information from the community, about dagga being sold in the area.
Police arrived at the address given, where they found the two men with dagga in their possession.
All three suspects were detained at the Primrose Police Station before they appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
Their cases have been postponed for trial.
