New wheels for Ngwemnyama

Ackermans Pharmacy rewarded its loyal customers with big prizes.

The atmosphere outside Ackermans Pharmacy was full of excitement and anticipation, last Saturday.

The day marked the grand finale of the pharmacy’s Win a Car competition, and one lucky customer was about to drive off in a new Kia Picanto 1.2l.

Each finalist was presented with a key to try and fit into the Kia’s door.

You could cut the atmosphere with a knife as each contest tried their keys with no luck.

It was then the turn of Ngwemnyama Fuyana, a Germiston South resident, to try his key – and much to his absolute amazement the door opened.

A visibly overwhelmed Ngwemnyama thanked the pharmacy for the spectacular prize.

All the finalists did not leave empty handed, however.

The second prize of R30 000 went to a thrilled Sister Sandra du Randt, the third prize of R20 000 was awarded to José Simoés and the fourth prize of R10 000 went to Martie Francis.

All the other finalists received R1 000 each.

The competition was once again extremely successful.
