Pedro Aaron (17) recently impressed judges and spectators alike with his long jump performance a school athletics meet at the Boksburg Stadium.
The Hoërskool Goudrif student jumped 7.11m in the boys u-17 long jump.
Aaron is a member of the Germiston Callies Harriers Athletics Club.
His coach, Stephané Kotze, was very impressed with his performance.
According to Kotze Aaron is in excellent form and has improved his distance with every meeting.
“I believes that Aaron has a very good chance of winning a medal at the SA Championships in April this year,” said Kotze.
