A nine-year-old girl made gruesome discovery in a shack in the Ndlazi Section, in Katlehong, recently.
“A four-month-old baby girl was found dead in the shack by the young girl,” said Capt Mega Ndobe, communications officer for the Katlehong police.
“We are currently looking for the mother of the baby,” Ndobe said.
“A case of child neglect has been opened against her, pending the results of the post-mortem.
“At this time we do not know the cause of death.”
