The Katlehong cluster stations recently held a stop-and-search operation.
The EMPD assisted in the operation by setting up various roadblocks.
A total of 33 suspects were arrested during the operation, seven of which were arrested in Katlehong.
The suspects were arrested on several charges including, assault, driving under the influence of alcohol and the possession of dagga.
All arrested suspects are expected to appear in the Palmridge Magistrates Court soon.
