Farewell to Col Khuzwayo

Outgoing station commander of the Primrose police station, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, thanks the community for their support.

Primrose Police Station commander Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo has bid a sad farewell to the suburb.

Khuzwayo will be retiring after many years of service in the SAPS.

During his 19 months with the Primrose police he has aimed to actively promote the neighbourhood watch and street patrols.

“Col Khuzwayo was an active man who liked to mobilise the community,” communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome said.

“I thank the entire Primrose community, local councillors, the CPFs, various churches, formal and informal businesses, members of the Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk, community patrollers, community leaders, the EMPD and all the Primrose SAPS members for the unwavering support they gave me during the past 19 months,” Khuzwayo said.

“Crime was reduced during my time as station commander and our service to the community was improved.

“I believe the three awards won by the station during the cluster awards in September are a testament to the hard work, commitment and focused policing shown by the Primrose police.

“The Primrose community can be assured that their safety will be sustained.”

The members of the Primrose police wish him all the best for the future.
