The GCN received a call from a disgruntled Castleview resident.
The man described a new scam, focused on people selling their homes.
“Beware of a team of con-artists, three women and one man, who approach home owners they can see are planning to sell their home and pretend to be estate agents.
“One member of the team will keep the home owner busy, while the others move through the home stealing valuable belongings.
“The police have been made aware of this latest scam, but I warn other home owners to be aware and alert,” he said.
