Matric farewell dreams come true

Germiston High pupils dressed up for their matric farewell.

A Girl and Guy’s Dream Come True was again out in the community, helping to make the matric farewell dreams of youngsters come true.

This time it was 16 students from Germiston High School who were given the royal treatment.

The pupils met at African Manor, in Lambton, last Friday, where they were pampered and preened until they looked their most beautiful.

Five of the girls were dressed by local company Melco, while fashion designer Michael Bezuidenhout dressed two of the young ladies.

The one gentleman and the remaining girls were dressed by Bon Bon’s, in Alberton, as well as various community members who donated dresses.

The girls’ make-up, nails, waxing and hair was exquisitely done by students from Ekurhuleni West College’s Germiston Campus.

Cars for the big night were supplied by members of the community and, to make the drive to their matric farewell venue even more exciting, the Germiston SAPS gave them a police escort.

The little ushers on the evening were Rachel Holder (10) and Juanita Ungerer (8), and the students were also joined by founder director of the charity Louise Wood.

The students looked spectacular and were ready to dance the night away and have a wonderful matric farewell.
