Toddler abducted, police request assistance

The police are appealing to anyone with information about abducted child to come forward.

The Germiston Cluster SAPS are asking the community for help.

Sgt Mduduzi Nhlabathi, communications officer for the Germiston Cluster, is appealing to anyone who might have information regarding the abduction of Relebohile “Ditseb” Prince Tsotetsi to come forward.

The 22-month-old boy was abducted from his Meyerton, Alberton, home on Wednesday.

It is alleged that at 10.20pm police received a complaint of a housebreaking in progress.

“On arrival the complainant said that three people had entered the house pretending to be customers, as she runs a business from home,” said Nhlabathi.

“One of the thugs was armed.

“They took the child with them when they left.”

Tsotetsi has a small build and is of average weight and medium height.

He was wearing a blue, yellow and black Batman T-shirt and light blue shorts at the time of his abduction.
