Hirsch’s Meadowdale, in conjunction with Whirlpool, recently invited children into the store for a free “Kiddies Cooking Class”.
“The children learnt how to make cupcakes and enjoyed icing and decorating them with sprinkles,” said Lauren Sprout, public relations officer for Hirsch’s Meadowdale.
“The older children took note of exactly how to make the cupcakes so they could make these at home, while the little ones enjoyed eating them and coming back for seconds.”
The smell of freshly baked cupcakes filled the air and the children enjoyed eating the freshly made, warm treats.
The smiles and messy faces said it all.
