A woman was recently raped in the Makause informal settlement, allegedly by a 45-year-old man.
“It is reported that the man lured the woman to his shack with the promise of work,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.
When she arrived at his shack he allegedly locked her inside and raped her.
The accused has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court where his case was posted for plea and trial.
