With the festive season fast approaching the Primrose police are appealing to members of the community to be extra vigilant when dealing with large amounts of cash.
“People are saving their hard earned money so that they can enjoy the festive season, and if they are not careful they can be left devastated when people they trust or criminals rob them of their money,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
These types of cases are especially prevalent during the festive season.
“Arrangements can be made with banks to transfer money into accounts thus people should not carry large amounts of cash with them,” said Maome.
