Arrest statistics from Katlehong cluster stations

The Katlehong cluster police arrested 20 suspects on November 2 during a stop-and-search operation.

The suspects were charged with various crime in the cluster area, which is made up of Dawn Park, Vosloorus, Zonkizizwe, Eden Park, Tokoza, Katlehong North and Katlehong.

Nine of the arrests were made in Katlehong.

Charges included: housebreaking and theft, assault, driving under the influence of alcohol and the possession of drugs, with special focus on dagga and nyaope.

All of the suspects are expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court soon.
