A 24-year-old man was recently arrested for stealing a motorcycle from his friend’s father.
“The complainant alleged he was at home with his son’s friend; his motorbike keys and cellphone were on the table,” explained communications officer for the Primrose police,” Styles Maome.
The man went to the bathroom leaving the accused alone.
“He claimed that he heard his motorbike start up and looked out of the window to see the accused riding away,” Maome added.
The man thought the accused would return, but when he didn’t he opened a case of theft at the Primrose Police Station.
Detectives followed several leads and the accused was traced and arrested.
