The Primrose police station commander, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, addresses residents at the Marathon informal settlement during a recent visit.
The Primrose police station commander, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, and his management team, recently visited the Marathon informal settlement.
The visit was aimed at addressing the residents’ concerns about crime in the area.
The team, together with sector manager Const Skhumbuzo Mncwango, appealed to the community to come to the police with any information related to criminal issues.
Khuzwayo encouraged the patrol team, currently patrolling the settlement, to continue with their hard work.
“I am declaring war on crime, with special focus on crimes that affect women and children,” said Khuzwayo.
