The GCN is in possession of a box believed to contain the ashes of someone.
It was brought to our offices by Lee-Anne van den Heever ,who discovered the “casket” on a wall outside the Victoria Court flats, on the corner of Main and Scorpia roads, Fishers’ Hill.
“I would feel terrible if I had lost my loved one’s ashes and could not get them back,” Lee-Anne said.
Written on the bottom of the box is the name J E Kirkpatrick.
If the box containing the ashes belongs to you, contact the GCN on 011 822-1792, or visit our offices at 25 Main Road, Fisher’s Hill (entrance in Scorpia Road).
We will require proof that the ashes belong to you.
