Help to bring hope this Christmas

Team Hope begin their Christmas party planning.

Christmas is fast approaching.

This means that Team Hope are hard at work planning their fourth annual Christmas party, which will be held at Ithembelihle Lsen School, in Primrose East, on Saturday, November 21.

The team has hosted the party each year for the charity homes they currently support.

These include Rekopane Inclusive Development Centre, Remme-Los and Dolphin House, Manger Care Centre, Parker Harriers, Ithembelihle Lsen School, as well as a number of private homes in the area.

The residents will be treated to a fun-filled day and other homes that wish to be included in the festivities can contact the event organiser, Arveen Singh.

“We need the community to get involved in order to make the day a success,” she said.

“We are appealing to the community to get involved and come and help out on the day.”

The team also needs donations of bottled water, cold drinks, chips and sweets, fruit (apples, oranges, naartjies and bananas), as well as a hot meal for those in attendance.

Cash donations are also welcome and will be used to buy stationery and gifts for the homes’ residents.

If you or anyone you know would like to help with any donation or sponsorship contact Singh on 082 759 084,1 or email to a.singh@fedex.com or arveens11@gmail.com — every Rand given will help to make the day a special one.
