A Lambton couple have been left devastated after their home in Eighth Avenue was burnt to the ground last Sunday. It has been reported that the fire started at around 7.15am. The home’s owner, Johan du Plooy, told a journalist from the GCN that he believes it was an electrical fire, caused by something in his wife, Julie’s, home office.

EMPD officers nailed three men who have allegedly been robbing and hijacking people in Germiston and Boksburg. The arrests came after a couple was hijacked last Saturday, at 6am, by the three men in the Boksburg CBD.

The Primrose police have issued a warning to the community to be on the lookout for several vehicles.

Netcare 911 paramedics attended the scene of a shooting incident at a complex, in Germiston, last Sunday, that left three people seriously injured.
