Primrose police celebrate Heritage Day

Primrose community comes together for Heritage Day.

The Primrose police thank all the role players who made their Heritage Day celebration a success.

The station teamed up with the Department of Social Development and local company Macsteel to host a Heritage Day drug awareness campaign, held in the park across the road from the Primrose Police Station.

“Drugs continue to be a problem in Primrose,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

The Department of Social Development’s representative Kalushi Pilusi addressed the community stating, “Ke moja, I am fine without drugs.

“We are the future and no drugs can stop us.”

The crowd were entertained with performances by the Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk and a word from Pastor Paul du Plessis of the AFM Church.
