Exports from the Cahora Bassa power station, in Mozambique, have been restored.
Maintenance work at the hydroelectric dam has been ongoing since last week, meaning that 1500MW had been lost during this time.
“Customers are encouraged to continue to use electricity efficiently throughout the day at home and the office, and to encourage friends and family to do the same,” said Eskom in a Statement this morning.
