In its continuous efforts to provide a stable and reliable power supply to consumers, the metro will be carrying out essential maintenance of the electricity vending systems at the Germiston Data Centre.
In order to make way for the work there will be a planned electricity vending system interruption that will affect all Ekurhuleni prepaid electricity customers on Friday, September 18, from 11pm until 5am, the next morning.
Prepayment consumers are encouraged to purchase sufficient electricity before maintenance work is carried out.
The metro apologises for any inconvenience to be caused.
