Housebreakings and the theft of motor vehicles are on the increase; this is according to the Primrose CPF.

The GCN had received reports that a plane has crashed at Rand Airport. It was later discovered it was not a crash. No official comment was received from Rand Airport.

Residents from several Germiston suburbs were left without water for days. Frustrated with the lack of information they received from the metro they contacted the GCN to try and get clarification on the issue.

The metro informed residents and businesses in Germiston that technicians from the metro were conducting an investigation to locate the cause of the water loss in parts of Germiston, last Monday.
