Time is running out to enter the 2015 Nova short story competition.

Nova, run by the Science Fiction/Fantasy South Africa (SFFSA), is an annual competition which has been running since 1972, and is an opportunity for science fiction and fantasy writers to showcase their talent.

Arthur Goldstuck, well-known author and technologist who heads the technology research company, World Wide Worx, will judge this year’s entries.

In addition to the R5 000 worth of prizes up-for-grabs the winning stories will be published in the club’s international magazine, Probe. The overall winner’s story will be translated into Italian and published in Mondi Incantati, the annual anthology of Riflessi di Luce Lunare.

The closing date for entries is September 30.
