Members of the Katlehong SAPS recently conducted a stop-and-search operation in the area.
The operation resulted in the arrest of 19 suspects, 17 in Katlehong South and two in Katlehong North.
The accused were arrested for various crimes, including assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, intimidation, business robbery, culpable homicide, shoplifting, possession of dagga and the distribution of dagga.
All the suspects were taken to the Katlehong Police Station pending their appearance in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court.
