The power system is currently stable, enabling Eskom to perform maintenance without load shedding.
However, as a result of increased electricity demand in the evening and power stations’ units being on maintenance, the power system is expected to be constrained during the evening.
This could, therefore, lead to load shedding
Eskom has urged community members to find energy efficient ways of keeping warm.
