Man arrested for using his father’s vehicle without permission

Father opens case against his own son.

A father recently opened a case against his 24-year-old son.

This came after his son took his car without his permission.

The complainant, who lives in Wychwood, explained to officers that his son had asked to borrow his company car.

“The man refused the request because the car does not belong to him,” explained communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.

“The son, however, did not listen to his father and took the vehicle.”

The accused was charged with the use of a motor vehicle without the owner’s permission.

He appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where the matter was postponed for plea and trial.
