Children help the SPCA for their 67 minutes

Doing their bit for needy animals in the community.

The children from Daeraad Pre-Primary School spent their 67 Minutes for Mandela helping the SPCA.

As Mandela Day fell during the school holidays, the event was held last Friday.

Hope Mokalapa, an inspector at the Germiston SPCA, visited the school and spoke to the children about the work the society does, and also taught them how to care for their own pets.

The parents and children generously donated food, blankets, toys, money and lots more for the animals in need at the SPCA.
