The bodies of two young boys were discovered at 6pm, last Wednesday, in a white BMW 316i, by members of the Germiston SAPS. The boys, believed to be aged between two and three years old and eight and 10 years old, respectively, were found lying in the car.

A murder docket has been opened into the deaths of two men found in a house in Sun Street, Fishers’ Hill. Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police, said the men, aged 58 and 48, were found stabbed to death on Tuesday morning.

3. Driveway robberies on the rise, warns ADT: https://bit.ly/1NRGVrr

In recent weeks, three incidents of criminals targeting people as they enter their driveways have been reported to ADT Security. Theunis Kotze, general manager of ADT’s inland region, urges residents to stay vigilant when entering or exiting their homes.

4. Train set alight at Germiston Station: https://bit.ly/1J4uFUB

Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) teams rushed to the Germiston Railway Station on Tuesday evening, to fight a train fire. Eric Maloka, media liaison for DEMS, told the GCN that the fire was started by disgruntled commuters, as there was a delay in the train service between Germiston and Kseseni.
