Youth desk invited to perform at Gauteng Education Department’s camp
Youth desk assist education department.
Substance abuse and bad behaviour were two of the main focuses at a camp recently hosted by the Gauteng Education Department, in Heidelberg.
Students from around Gauteng were asked to attend the camp.
Members of the Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk were also invited to the camp, to perform an interactive play, showcasing the effects of substance abuse.
Capt Patricia Fakude, from the Primrose SAPS, accompanied the group and gave an informative presentation to the students who attended on substance abuse in schools, to the students who attended.
