Rocks puncture vehicle’s tyres on N3
EMPD monitor N3 after rocks are left on highway.
Motorists on the N3 were delayed during their Thursday morning drive to work.
The delay was originally believed to have been caused by an accident involving a mini bus taxi, but EMPD later confirmed that it was not an accident.
The EMPD control room reported that the delay was caused by people putting rocks on the highway.
These rocks had punctured several vehicles’ tyres.
EMPD officers will continue to monitor the situation on the N3 to prevent similar incidents.
