Hirsch’s Meadowdale recognises another shining star

Domestic worker thrilled with her win.

Hirsch’s honours the most valuable members of households with the coveted “Domestic Worker of the Month Award”.

A delighted Emily Motaung was recently recognised as the Domestic Worker of the Month for June, at Hirsch’s Meadowdale.

Emily received a certificate and a R300 Hirsch’s voucher.

Her employer, Susan Hug, who entered Emily in the competition, said: “Emily has been employed for 12 years.

“She took over the running of the household, taking care of my home, cooking and supporting my mom.

“She is a true home executive, compiling shopping lists, taking care of appliances and keeping the house ship-shape.

“I can never thank this angel enough.”

Hirsch’s Meadowdale is offering all employers the opportunity to let their domestic worker shine.

Nominate your domestic worker for the month of July.

All you need to do is send a 100 word motivation about why they deserve to be the domestic worker for the month.

Entries can be emailed to Brigitte Thysse (Hirsch’s regional public relations and marketing manager) at brigitte@hirschs.co.za.

The monthly competition will run until November, with the grand finale being held in the same month, when the Domestic Worker of the Year will be announced.
