A woman recently returned to her Gorst Street home, after church, and discovered that her windows and burglar-barred door had been damaged.
Her neighbour informed her that her 31-year-old boyfriend had allegedly caused the damage to the house.
“She claims that she questioned her boyfriend when he arrived at the house,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“He first denied any wrong doing but later confessed to causing the damage, but insisted he would repair it.
“When he did not repair the damage she opened a case against him.”
He was arrested and appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where his case was postponed for trial.
