Man arrested for possession of dagga

Tip-off leads to arrest.

An anonymous tip-off from a resident of the Marathon informal settlement led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man for possession of dagga.

When officers arrived at the address given to them, they found the man and asked to search the premises.

During the search they found a blue cooler box with 48.5g of dagga inside.

The man was arrested and is due to appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
