Business association has new leaders

New chairman, vice-chairman for EBA.

The Ekurhuleni Business Association (EBA) has new committee members at the helm.

Ramatiyane Seepe was elected as chairman and Thabang Hlanyane as vice-chairman at the EBA’s recent AGM.

Seepe is also chairman of the East Rand Industrialist’s Association (ERIN), situated in Kempton Park, and Hlanyane is chairman of the recently formed Ekurhuleni Black Business Chamber of Commerce and Industry, situated in Nigel.

The EBA was formed more than 14 years ago, at the time of the formation of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, as an association of the Chambers and Associations of Business within the municipality boundaries and is a recognised voice of business in dealings with the metro.

The objective of the EBA is to represent industry and commerce with the metro to ensure that the required service delivery by the metro is maintained.
