The Germiston SPCA’s telephone lines have been stolen.

The lines were stolen about five weeks ago and the society is still waiting for these to be replaced.

Further to this, the ADSL lines were also stolen, meaning the SPCA has no internet access.

“Thankfully we are running an emergency 3G dongle to receive electronic cruelty reports,” said Michelle Falgate, chairman of the Germiston SPCA.

If you need to contact the Germiston SPCA for any reason, call 082 675 0072.

This is a 24-hour number.

“We ask for patience from the public in this regard, we are doing everything possible to get this problem sorted,” said Falgate.
