The Katlehong police recently arrested a 38-year-old man for assaulting his brother.
The police were called to the scene of a fight, where it is alleged that the accused caught his brother giving food to their neighbours.
The siblings argued, during which the accused hit his brother in the face with a beer bottle.
The injured man was taken to the Natalspruit Hospital, in Vosloorus, where he was treated.
The victim’s brother was arrested and charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
