Man arrested for housebreaking and theft

Man linked to Limpopo Road rape.

Members of the Primrose police recently arrested a 32-year-old man for housebreaking and theft.

The arrest was made after the home owner alleged that he left his house to go to work.

When he arrived home at around 5.30pm, he found that his house had been broken into. It is reported that the accused gained entry to the house by breaking the padlock, and made off with the victim’s clothes.

Officers followed several leads that resulted in the arrest of the man.

During his profiling at the Primrose Police Station, officers discovered that the accused was wanted for a rape in Limpopo Road, Marlands.

The suspect will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
