Stage two load shedding to take effect from 5pm

Eskom has announced that stage one load shedding will be implemented from 4pm to 5pm, this evening.

Like yesterday (Monday) this will be followed by stage two load shedding till 10pm tonight.

Customers are urged to urgently switching off geysers, air conditioners, pool pumps & non-essential appliances to reduce electricity demand.

Spokesman Khulu Phasiwe said, “We have a huge demand from 5pm and we also don’t have the generating units to meet the demand.”
