The Primrose police recently arrested a 25-year-old man for the possession of drugs.
The arrest was made in Rietfontein Road while officers were on a routine patrol in the area.
“Officers noticed the man acting suspiciously, they stopped and asked to search him,” said Sgt Styles Maone, communications officer for the Primrose police.
During the search, officers found a small plastic bag containing a white substance, in his front, right pocket.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Primrose Police Station pending his appearance in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
